Internet2 Member Meeting

The activity was held on April 19-21, 2004 in the Marriot Crystal GateWay Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. The main goal of the meeting was to provide opportunities for interaction with and exploration of the collaborative relationships between the Internet2 community and the federal agencies that provide funding and support for advanced network applications.

Key areas of focus for Spring 2004 included cyberinfrastructure initiatives, cooperative funding arrangements among federal agencies, global e-science collaborations, security on high-performance networks, and advanced applications underway on member campuses, deployment of middleware capabilities, and advancements in the K/20 community. Dr. José G. Conde, Associate Director of RCMI Program, and Myrna Agostini, System Coordinator, participated of this activity.
