On September 28-30, Brenda Nieves attends to a NCBI PowerScripting course. This 3-day course was offered by The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). It included lectures and computer workshops on effectively using the NCBI Entrez Programming Utilities (eUtils) within scripts to automate search and retrieval operations across the entire suite of Entrez databases.

With the knowledge obtained in the course, it will be more easy to accessing NCBI data in automated fashion. For example create automated searches, design and execute complex searches.
